Volume 3 | Issue 7

Welcome to another issue of our weekly bulletin
We'll try to keep everyone up-to-date on our weekly meetings and all our Dawnbreaker activities.

Tomorrow
at
Country Inn and Suites
Terry will summarize
the changes approved at the
2019 Council on Legislation

Every three years, Rotarians meet at the Council on Legislation to review and vote on proposed changes to the legislation that governs Rotary.
They consider enactments, which change Rotary’s governing documents,
and position statements by the RI Board.

Our meeting will be followed by a meeting of our
Charity Fund Board
Board of Directors
Everyone is welcome to stay!

Monday's board meeting
was cancelled and will be replaced by a short board meeting after our regular meeting
next week
As always, everyone is welcome so reserve a little extra time next Wednesday morning

Did you know...
In 1942, in the midst of World War ll, Rotary convened a conference in London that succeeded in assembling ministers of education and observers of 21 governments — many of them in exile in London — for the purpose of considering the organization of a vast educational and cultural exchange after the conclusion of the war. Later that same year the group began laying plans for UNESCO and thus, literally, the United Nations was born.
Rotary International and the Red Cross are the only two
Non-governmental Organizations holding seats
at the United Nations.
