Volume 1 | Issue 23

Welcome to another issue of our weekly bulletin
We'll try to keep everyone up-to-date on our weekly meetings and all our Dawnbreaker activities.
Tomorrow:
DAWNBREAKER
FIELD TRIP!
We will meet at
Country Inn and Suites
600 Tracy Trail
just off Pingree Road, north of 14
(near Culver's)
Do NOT show up at the
Holiday Inn tomorrow
or be prepared to throw in a buck!

Capt Carol Lewis
and
Lynn Criscione

Along with the induction of our two newest members, at last week's meeting we had our AG, Sam Martinez, as our guest.  Sam went through a check list of club goals from Gov. Don.

Matt then reviewed the auction, and the surveys that have been received so far.
If you have not yet filled out the survey that was emailed a couple weeks ago, please do so!
Matt estimated that the website problem that occurred during the auction may have cost us (our charities!) as much as $10,000.
In a few weeks there will be a continuation of the auction discussion.  At that time copies of all the surveys will be available for everyone to see.
Topics to be discussed include the venue, the date, and the logistics of running the auction.

Charity Fund Board Update
The Board of Directors of our Charity Fund Board
met last week and approved
$4,000 for the Senior Care Volunteer Network.
Many of our members have elderly parents who qualify for these programs, others of us-you know who you are-are already close to qualifying.
Our funds will assist with an additional intake coordinator
as each intake requires 4 hours
and there is now a two week wait.

Also approved was a donation of
$900 to Hooves to Heal to purchase Annie.
Annie is a rescue horse who will be nurtured back to health and then used for their equine therapy program
for adults and children with special needs.

Charity Fund Board meetings are held at least quarterly and all Dawnbreakers are welcome to attend.

Dawnbreakers-Terry, Chris, Mark, Karla, Mary B, Ryan, Krista, Sue D, Gary R, and Judy-
will be helping at the food pantry this Saturday, 11:30-2:00
