All Dawnbreakers are members of CFB and welcome to attend, as well as invite charities to submit requests championed by a member.
CFB would like to initiate discussion tomorrow morning about CORE Charities.
Core Charities in the past were given a larger donation during the Thanksgiving season to reflect our club’s appreciation for important charities supporting our community and our globe.
This year our funds are reduced as there was not a large fundraiser during COVID.
Therefore, CFB suggests a reduced amount given but still a recognition of 2-4 Core Charities selected by the club members.
We would like to entertain recommendations from members of charities to give $1000 to $1500 each. The recommendations would be voted upon the members and 2-4 eligible charities would be given a check at the Wednesday meeting before Thanksgiving. It is a great publicity and awareness opportunity.
Thanks to all for your ongoing support of fundraising making our CFB possible!
