Read, Write and Win

Awards night for the Read, Write and Win program sponsored by the Dawnbreakers, C.L. Library and McHenry County College was held Monday, April 22nd at Hussman School.  The Dawnbreakers awarded $1,500.00 in prizes to the lucky winners.  Students choose a book from a select few and write or illustrate the ending.  Teachers from MCC judge the entries and select the winners.  This year 150 students from District 47 participated in the contest.
